There are typically three ways to join:

Not yet in a posse:
First, please attend a Jeep Posse Meeting and introduce yourself. If you believe that you would like to join the Jeep Posse first, and we feel you are a good match, we will provide you with a sponsorship letter. Bring this with you to your Posse Orientation Meeting. After you complete the enrollment process tell the Posse Administrator down in Enforcement Support that you would like to be assigned to the Jeep Posse and have a sponsorship letter.

Already a Posse Member (Non-QAP):
Great!!! You already have all the preliminary work out of the way. Contact any of the Jeep Posse members and let them know you are interested in joining our group. Feel free to attend one of our Membership meetings that are held the 2nd Tuesday of each month at the Sheriff's Enforcement Support building (3325 W. Durango, Phoenix AZ) at 7:00pm. Be prepared to ask us questions (and answer some too). If you believe that you would like to join, you need to do the following:

Inform your current Posse Commander. They will need to send a Letter-of-Transfer to the Jeep Posse Commander stating that you are in good standing with your posse.
Upon transfer, you will become a probationary Jeep Posse member subject to your successfully being accepted and completing your QAP training. This must be done within 12 months of transfer.
Complete the Jeep Posse Field Training program (FTO). Your training records, FTO evaluations, and posse work history will be reviewed by the Jeep Posse Governing Board. If deemed satisfactory, you will be recommended to the Jeep Posse membership for voting on as a full member.
